Designed by Emanuele Pizzolorusso, a young Helsinki based industrial designer, the Crumpled City Map is made to be crushed and manhandled. Made of trusty Tyvek®, it’s 100% waterproof and 100% recyclable, and you can squash this map into your pocket, bag or the accompanying pouch in 2 seconds flat without worrying about spoiling your map.
The Crumpled City Map is a handy size, and also provides details about a large part of the city, including streets, monuments, museums, art galleries and also includes a sightseeing index and a list of unique "Soulsights".
Each map comes in a box with a carrying pouch, with a different graphic motif on it representative of the corresponding city. Remember to crush the map before use (I couldn’t quite bear to at first! But after I did I could not stop balling that thing up!) and enjoy the satisfaction of being able to scrunch something up without spoiling it.
